This is a great example of poetry and digital storytelling to share with your students, not to mention a subject worth discussing.

  1. Dear Karl, I am a student in EDM310 at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. This is a very powerful video that I immensely enjoyed watching. I am supposed to summarize your post on my blog, but I would not be able to do this video justice; therefore, I am going to include this video on my blog. This video is so powerful and gets its message across so effectively. I truly do not even know how to express my feelings about this. Maybe once I watch it a few more times and show it to a few people that I know would also enjoy it, then I will know exactly how I feel. Thanks for posting this! --Heather Howton

  2. This is great! I teach a film class here in South Korea and my students would love this. The imagery along with the spoken word is fantastic. I'm going to look for a transcript so I can translate it and put some subtitles in it for my students. I'm afraid some it might be too fast for them and the word play might be too advanced to fully grasp the content of the storytelling. Most of my students are amazing artists and we have dabbled with stop-motion animation before but this would be a great alternative to that. Thanks for sharing!
