It's Not the Curriculum, Stupid!

Another quickie from David Warlick:
Stop talking about integrating technology into the curriculum, and start talking about integrating the curriculum into an information-driven, technology-rich, rapidly changing world.

To paraphrase a political slogan, "It's not the curriculum, stupid!" I believe we get so hung up on our curriculum that we lose sight of the big picture, and I think the above quote says it nicely. There's another quote that may be familiar to you (21c learners) that I also think is appropriate:
Not for school, but for life, we learn.

Hmm, we post that in the cafeteria and the student handbook, but do we really adhere to it?
