I have a friend, Morgan Spector, IMDB him, who was a California Regent's Scholar, a National Merit Scholar, and went to Reed. What did he end up studying? Theater. Went on to get MFA...point is, having AP Calc and Physics under his belt...gave him a leg up, a knowledge and confidence to go with all those good looks and talent!

Thank you for caring so much...and inspiring me...even with 26 years under my belt.

Amy
Ms. Z Teaches in Mathland Amy zimmerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09960137549431994944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16660456.post-91917010447566362602012-09-09T13:01:40.431-06:002012-09-09T13:01:40.431-06:00I feel like the example that you started your blog...I feel like the example that you started your blog off with did a very good job at setting up your whole point. Melissa Benoist knew that acting was what she wanted to do and even though she didn't really need an education she felt she should stay strong and get through that. I like how you used Melissa as a way to show your algebra class that by using the world around us we can make more sense of things. You made the most important point of all whenever you said continuing to learn and gain more knowledge is what makes our society work. I couldn't have agreed with you more that the more you learn the more you understand things. Kayla Moranhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02312582803604810235noreply@blogger.com
